Houston Commercial Title Executive Receives Prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award

HOUSTON (January 27, 2017) – Dr. Mary Ann Reynolds-Wilkins, Vice President and Senior Business Development Officer at Stewart Title Guaranty Company, received the first Lifetime Achievement Award from the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce this week.

The award recognizes female business leaders who have made significant strides in empowering and advancing women in their personal and professional lives while supporting the chamber’s mission.

Reynolds-Wilkins has served the chamber as Chair of the Board, Chair of the Greater Houston Conference for Women and Thought Leaders and co-founder of the Thought Leaders Institute. She also was recognized as one of Houston’s “Ten Breakout Women” by the chamber.

Reynolds-Wilkins joined Stewart Title in 2000 after a successful career in academia.She led a school district of 50,000 students and 5,000 employees and served as adjunct professor for HBU and the University of Houston, Reynolds-Wilkins has served on the boards for Alley Theater, Houston Symphony League and Houston chapter of CoreNet. She is a member of the Real Estate Advisory Committee for the Greater Houston Partnership. She previously served on the boards for the Jones Partners at Rice University, Houston chapter of NAIOP, Preservation Houston, American Red Cross, Houston Symphony, Houston Ballet, Leadership Houston, American Heart Association and Houston Methodist Hospital in Sugar Land.

A concert pianist by training, she has recorded three piano CDs and co-produced the musical "Galveston" with her husband to sold-out audiences at the Hobby Center in 2011.

She earned a bachelor’s degree from West Texas A&M University, master’s and doctorate degrees from Texas A&M University–Commerce and another master’s degree from the University of North Texas. She completed post-graduate seminars at the University of Houston, Harvard and Columbia.
